Sample Dropoff/Pickup Request Web Order System

CQLS support for Resuming On-Site and Field-Based Research Activities

CQLS facilities can now be used without a research resumption plan. Masks, distancing, personnel space requirements, and protocols remain in place.

We are now allowing self-serve sample drop off during our open hours without an appointment. Typically, we are open between 9am-4pm but not guaranteed.

All samples can be dropped off only in the -20C freezer/refrigerator just inside the front door.  There are marked shelves for each service in this freezer. If your samples need to be transferred to the -80C freezer, send an email to that effect.

Please note that we are a BSL2 lab and access is only for the very front of the lab.  If you need to discuss anything about your samples when dropping them off, please make an appointment ahead of time with the relevant person.

Use of any of our equipment in ALS 3012 is still by appointment only with the appropriate PPE. You can make an appointment with an individual person or at  https://oregonstate.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_eb9Mhwxr0K8OXuC

Training is now available for multiuser equipment upon request. Masks and protocols for using multiuser rooms and equipment remain in place. Please continue to use the calendar system to reserve time on the instruments. We can still only allow one user in this space at a time.

Multiuser Room Guidelines

In order to follow University guidelines because of the COVID19 emergency the CQLS is implementing new rules and regulations for all the Multiuser room users.

1.  There will be only one person allowed into the Multiuser room, ALS 2156, at the time.

2.  Access will only be provided to essential and approved research. Refer to https://cqls.oregonstate.edu/core/covid-policy.

3.  All calendars are overlaid for the Multiuser room.  Sign up on the calendar for your instrument as usual in a time spot that doesn't conflict with others. After reserving time, check to make sure you will be the only person in that time slot.

4.   To limit traffic on the second floor and to enable fair access to all, you are requested to sign-up for 30 minutes at a time.  If you will need more than two consecutive 30 minute time slots please contact Felipe Arredondo.

5. Masks and other appropriate PPE must be worn at all times.

6. Door codes will expire on 6/25/2020

7.  Place an online request a new code and access to the room calendar from Felipe Arredondo, upon confirming your project's approval status with him and accepting our usage policy. Other core staff will not be handling access to that room. Door Codes can ONLY be requested online; in-person requests will not be accepted.
