Expanded Computing Resources for Health Data Research

By Anne-Marie Gir… on Aug. 6, 2025

New in 2025!

If your research needs to use and analyze sensitive data, such as personally identifiable information (PII), protected health information (PHI), OSU now has a secure cloud environment for you to use on a fee basis.  Customization for your project needs is possible. Contact us to ask about SHERLOCK at hdi@cqls.oregonstate.edu.

Support us during Dam Proud Day

We are participating in Dam Proud Day for the first time this year. Support for us will help many across OSU's departments and colleges access cutting edge technologies for their research.

The Center for Quantitative Life Sciences (CQLS) facilitates data-intensive life science research at OSU. Our unique mix of laboratory and computational science provides the advanced tools necessary to conduct high-impact investigations across OSU’s research areas.

Spring 2025 CQLS Courses

As Spring term 2025 approaches, the CQLS is pleased to announce several training opportunities, including Introduction to UNIX/Linux / Command-Line Data Analysis and Genotyping by Sequencing.

The delivery of the Genotyping by Sequencing (GBS) course will be held entirely online via OSU Ecampus - students based out of the Cascades, and Portland campuses (in addition to experiment stations and Extension programs) are particularly encouraged to enroll! GBS can also be taken as a non-credited remote workshop.
