Note that there is an upcoming ALS building wide exhaust system shutdown planned for the entire week of June 24-28. Facilities needs to shutdown all the exhaust fans, which will impact airflow throughout the building. The building will still receive climate control, but not at full capacity. As the building will not have any exhaust ventilation, occupants should expect to notice some laboratory related odors. If possible, avoid any extra heat generating experiments, as the building’s cooling system will be compromised from the reduced ventilation. CQLS laboratory staff will be working, but at a reduced capacity. Sample dropoff and multiuser equipment will still be available.
