Denise M. Hynes |
Dr. Denise M. Hynes, MPH, PhD, RN, FAMIA (She/Her/Hers), joined Oregon State University in 2018. Professor Hynes is the founding director of CQLS Health Data & Informatics (HDI) Program and is Professor in the College of Health. She is a fellow of the American Medical Informatics Association. She also holds a courtesy faculty appointment at the Oregon Health and Science University, School of Nursing and an appointment as a Senior Research Career Scientist at the VA Portland Health Care System as a part of the Center to Improve Veteran Involvement in Care (CIVIC). As a nurse and health services researcher, Professor Hynes' research focuses on evaluating and improving healthcare quality, access, and economic outcomes for people with chronic health conditions, and uses large-scale health records, insurance claims (VA, Medicare) and survey data. Joe Spring |
Joe Spring earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Iowa. Joe has been involved with the REDCap community and administration since 2016. Joe is responsible for managing and supporting CQLS in the REDCap service helping assist researchers with their health-related data management needs. |
