Denise M. Hynes

Denise Hynes joined Oregon State University as Professor in the College of Public Health and Human Sciences (CPHHS) and as the Program Director of the new CQLS Health Data & Informatics (HDI) Program in 2018. She is also the Graduate Program Director for Health Management and Policy in CPHHS. She also holds a courtesy faculty appointment at the Oregon Health and Science University, School of Nursing. She also holds an appointment as a Senior Research Career Scientist at the VA Portland Health Care System as a part of the Center to Improve Veteran Involvement in Care (CIVIC).

Matthew Peterson

Matthew Peterson earned a B.S. in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and an M.S. in Applied Information Management from the University of Oregon. Matthew is responsible for managing and supporting the CQLS’ deployment of REDCap (Research Electronic Data Capture) and assisting researchers with their health-related data management needs.
